About Family Matters 1st
Our mission is centered around empowering families by offering education, peer support, and advocacy. Our primary objective is to combat the unjust separation of families, by The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families with a particular focus on those who are historically marginalized and disadvantaged.
What we offer parents
Our programs at Family Matters 1st are designed to provide families with the support and guidance they need during the custody process in the Massachusetts Juvenile Court System. We offer a range of services, all aimed at promoting custodial rights and providing families with the resources they need to make informed decisions.
